As a Client Director in the Retail/Consumer sector you will:

• Play a significant tole in our growth in the retail and consumer sectors, through growing existing accounts and winning new clients
• Manage the portfolio of projects on key accounts
• Lead and oversee some client delivery
• Build high performing teams to deliver the work that you sell
• Offer oversight and direction on internal initiatives and team events
• Are a senior member of the leadership team and contribute to the operational management of the firm

Candidates must be able to demonstrate significant experience within a recognised management consultancy firm, selling and leading engagements for clients in the retail sector

• c.15-20yrs+ management consulting experience, with recent personal responsibility for leading the growth of a practice or capability
• Expertise in a sector or capability that you’re known for
• A desire to have personal visibility in a growing firm
• Developed habits in networking, growing accounts and generating new business
• Dedication to mentoring and leading high performing teams

• James Cumberland joined as a Senior Consultant in 2015. He moved to the U.S in 2022 to establish our NYC office and was subsequently promoted to Client Director
• Grace Blundell leads the Health and Social Care capability at Gate One; part of the Public Sector team. Grace joined as a Senior Consultant in Jan 2018 and progressed to Client Director in 5 years
