Context for this role:
The Gate One India business was established in 2024 and we now have a team of ~10 based in Bangalore, with exciting plans for further growth over the next few years. As part of that growth we now have an opportunity for an experienced Manager to join our consulting team.
Our Managers have the leadership expertise to lead high value, complex engagements with personal responsibility for the performance of a team.
Responsibilities:
Delivering client engagements
- Lead projects and engagements within a client account
- Apply deep change management expertise, building trust with clients
- Manage client relationships within the engagement at different levels of seniority, working on-site with clients. Able to resolve challenging issues within the client environment.
- Intellectually shape complex content, taking accountability for personal work and work of the team
- Manage a team of client staff and/or Gate One colleagues as a strong people leader
- Apply strong project management approach to set up, management and close of projects
Business Development
- Significantly contribute to relationship driven business development activities such as client account development, supporting BD meetings, proposition development, supports bids, networks with clients
- Lead key workstreams on a bid or proposal process
- Lead account management activities and generate business development meetings with the client
- Proactively shape new opportunities with existing client, with support from the account lead
Building the business:
- Lead knowledge sharing and knowledge management within the change management capability
- Play a key role in internal capability development and training
- Lead strategic internal projects
- Proactively seek feedback and learning & development opportunities to support personal career development
Person Specification:
Experience:
5+ years consulting experience working in a recognised consulting business, most likely currently working at Manager grade
Deep expertise in change management is essential
Additional experience in digital transformation and/or finance transformation would be highly advantageous
A proven ability to deliver high-quality outputs in transformation projects, especially those involving organizational change and finance process improvements.
- Some experience in representing consultants in performance management
- Experience of contributing to key client account growth and revenue generation through relationship driven activities
- Experience leading and coaching teams of consultants on programmes, including client resources
Skills:
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to independently engage with clients, plan and structure workstreams, and drive execution.
Ability to work with high autonomy, to scope, lead and deliver transformation projects, partnering with clients, taking responsibility for the teams' results
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written and listening).

Location:
This role will combine time working on client site (typically 3 days per week) with time in the Havas office in Bangalore and the flexibility to work some days from home.
