Manager, Change Management - London
You are the heart of our change management work; designing and delivering transformation programmes, leading teams and nurturing client relationships.
Change sits at the heart of Gate One’s work. Across digital and technology transformation, operating model redesign, data‑led change and large‑scale organisational programmes, Gate One helps clients navigate change in a way that is practical, people‑centred and embedded - not theoretical or detached from delivery.
As our work continues to grow, we are looking to appoint a Manager with a specialism in Change Management to lead complex, cross‑capability change engagements and help further build its people, culture and change capability.
The opportunity
As a Manager at Gate One, you will play a senior leadership role on transformation programmes where change is critical to success. You will be responsible for shaping and delivering change approaches that are tightly integrated with broader delivery - ensuring that digital, data and operating model changes are adopted, sustained and embedded within organisations.
You will act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, lead teams, and help clients navigate complexity, ambiguity and transformation fatigue. Alongside client delivery, you will contribute to account growth, support business development activity, and take an active role in developing Gate One’s change capability and internal culture.
This role is well‑suited to someone who brings strong change craft, sound consulting judgement, and enjoys working closely with clients and colleagues across disciplines.
You will
Lead complex, cross‑capability change engagements
Lead and deliver large‑scale change programmes embedded within broader transformation initiatives, taking accountability for outcomes, quality and team performance.
Design and deliver change approaches across areas such as stakeholder engagement, behavioural change, culture, communications, capability building and adoption.
Work closely with digital, data, operating model and transformation colleagues to ensure change is integrated rather than delivered in isolation.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, helping them navigate complex change environments with confidence.
Contribute to account growth and business development
Support the growth of client accounts through delivery‑led business development and relationship building.
Lead or contribute to key workstreams within bids and proposals, shaping compelling, outcome‑focused change approaches.
Identify opportunities to deepen change activity within live engagements and existing client relationships, working alongside Principals and Client Directors.
Build the business and develop others
Coach, mentor and develop consultants across project teams, supporting performance, progression and wellbeing.
Take a meaningful role in the development of Gate One’s change capability, including propositions, internal initiatives, learning content or thought leadership.
Contribute to recruitment, internal communities and firm‑wide initiatives, role‑modelling Gate One’s values and leadership behaviours.
About you
You will have strong experience working within a management consulting environment, with a demonstrable track record of leading and delivering change‑focused work within complex client programmes.
You will also bring:
Deep experience in change management and people‑led transformation, applied within digital, technology, operating model or data‑driven change initiatives.
Around 6–10 years’ consulting experience, with increasing responsibility for leading workstreams, engagements or programmes.
Experience designing and delivering change approaches across areas such as culture, behaviours, communications, capability and adoption.
Proven experience leading and coaching teams of consultants, including managing client resources.
Exposure to business development activity, such as supporting or leading client meetings, proposals and bids.
Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence, with the ability to build trust with stakeholders at different levels of seniority.
A desire to continue developing as a leader at Gate One, contributing to its culture, people agenda and long‑term growth.
