Principal, Insurance - London
Our Principals are the future leaders of our business. You will play a key role in our Insurance sector team, leading major transformation programmes and managing and growing key accounts.
As a Principal in our London office you will be responsible for:
Delivering client engagements
Lead multiple large/complex client projects and engagements, managing teams of blended client and Gate One resources
Apply deep Insurance sector expertise, building trust with clients and navigating complexities
Build senior client relationship, acting as a trusted advisor for the account
Quality assure engagement deliverables and support more junior team members to deliver against client requirements
Ensure compliance across all aspects of the set up, management and close of projects
Business Development
Proactively generate BD meetings and shape new opportunities within new and existing life sciences clients as the pursuit lead
Lead complex bids, proposals and senior BD meetings
Lead account management plans within a sector, capability or account
Lead networking and marketing events, grow own personal network
Building the business:
Lead a strategic priority for Gate One and build an internal team to support this
Lead knowledge sharing and knowledge management activities
Play a key role in recruitment for Analyst to Manager roles
Demonstrate strong people management capabilities as a PDL or mentor, supporting the professional development of others
Provide coaching for the development of more junior colleagues
Ideal experience profile:
Prior experience at Senior Manager grade or equivalent within a recognised management consultancy is essential and we are unable to consider candidates who do not have this experience
Deep expertise in the Insurance sector, with the ability to design and lead complex transformation engagements end-to-end and apply subject matter expertise
Experience in growing key accounts through the development of new opportunities, and leading senior business development meetings
